As a Registered Nurse, your professionalism, kindness and compassion will form the cornerstone of your responsibilities. In this role, you may find yourself as the primary nurse on a shift, leading and managing the care team to ensure exceptional nursing care is delivered.
Your duties will involve collaborating with residents, their key carers, family members and the wider team, while maintaining effective communication with GPs, hospitals and external agencies.

Henry Cornish Care Centre, located on the outskirts of Chipping Norton, provides individualized residential, early stage dementia, intermediate and respite care for up to 50 residents in a warm and comfortable environment.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse, currently registered with the NMC.
Post registration experience and evidence of continuing professional development are essential.
You should be comfortable working autonomously, possess a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks and be experienced in or willing to train in various aspects including:
- Medication administration
- Catheterisation
- End of life care
- Verification of death
- Syringe drivers
- Gastrostomy care
- Venepuncture
- Diabetic awareness
- Tissue viability
- Epilepsy awareness
- Management of deterioration – sepsis awareness
