Your duties will involve collaborating with residents, their key carers, family members and the wider team, while maintaining effective communication with GPs, hospitals and external agencies.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be a qualified Registered General Nurse or Registered Mental Health Nurse, currently registered with the NMC.

Post registration experience and evidence of continuing professional development are essential.

You should be comfortable working autonomously, possess a clear understanding of regulatory frameworks and be experienced in or willing to train in various aspects including:

  • Medication administration
  • Catheterisation
  • End of life care
  • Verification of death
  • Syringe drivers
  • Gastrostomy care
  • Venepuncture
  • Diabetic awareness
  • Tissue viability
  • Epilepsy awareness
  • Management of deterioration – sepsis awareness
